this blog has been up for over seven years. it had actively chronicled my thoughts over my last couple of years in the university and my first few months as a corporate slave. i've begun to neglect it, partly due to the emergence of other social networking media which incorporated micro-blogging, but mostly because my life had become an empty shell and i really wasn't left with anything substantial enough to blog about.

it was heartbreaking reading through my past entries. i was a very different person then. of course, most of the entries were either rants or emotions expressed in vague codes and i could no longer remember specifics. but i miss the passion i felt then - that passion which moved me to blog. i don't feel that kind of passion anymore.

so i've decided that today, on my 26th birthday, i am shutting down this blog. i won't delete it; i just kept all entries private. this blog symbolizes a huge chunk of better days already past, and i've got to move on. so i won't be updating this blog anymore. this is my last entry, and the only one that the public can see.

i wish to thank everyone who had been a part of this blog and my life. i will put up another blog and write about the present and the future, however mundane it might be. i know i should keep on writing. i just want a fresh "book" on which to write the story of my adulthood. my only hope is for wisdom to come with age.

non est ad astra mollis e terris via (there is no easy way from the earth to the stars).

But if you tame me, then we shall need each other. To me, you shall be unique in the world. To you, I shall be unique in the world.

I shall watch you out of the corner of my eye and you will say nothing: words are the source of misunderstandings. But each day you may sit a little closer to me.

The closer our time approaches, the happier I shall feel. By four o’clock I shall already be getting agitated and worried; I shall be discovering that happiness has its price!
